What Is Invest Payson?

A Local Program With
Generational Reach

Under the new federal child investment account program, eligible U.S. children born from 2025 through 2028 receive a $1,000 government seed in a tax-advantaged investment account. Families and businesses can contribute more, including up to $2,500 per child each year from a participating business.

Invest Payson makes it easier for shops, trades, restaurants, nonprofits, and other local businesses to offer those contributions as a team benefit. It also gives civic groups and neighbors a way to support a local matching effort so more children across the Rim can share in a stronger future.

Why It Matters Here

A Benefit That
Grows With a Family

A steady business contribution can mean far more than another item in a benefits packet. It tells local families they matter, helps good people put down roots, and gives the next generation more time to grow a real financial head start.

Around here, people know who opened the shop, fixed the roof, coached the team, and showed up when a neighbor needed help. This program turns that same small-town care into a practical investment in Rim Country kids.

Questions & Answers

What Local Businesses Ask

What does Invest Payson handle for a business?

The program is designed to cover team education, enrollment support, eligibility verification, contribution and payroll coordination, recordkeeping, ongoing questions, and clear business updates. The exact scope is confirmed while shaping your plan.

How much can a business contribute?

Current public program information allows businesses to contribute up to $2,500 per eligible child each year, counting toward the account's overall annual contribution limit. Final plan design should be reviewed against current federal guidance and with qualified tax and legal professionals.

Can a business support children beyond its own team?

Yes. Businesses and community groups can explore sponsorship of a Rim Country matching effort, a team benefit, or both. Community sponsorship is intended to expand the program's reach across Payson and surrounding communities.

How quickly can a program launch?

A straightforward program can be organized in weeks rather than months, depending on workforce size, payroll coordination, contribution design, and employee enrollment needs.

What do the business updates include?

Updates can include eligible and enrolled families, business dollars contributed, participation trends, and illustrative long-term impact. Private family and account-level information is not included.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing reflects program setup, team size, locations, administration needs, reporting, and sponsorship goals. The business separately chooses and funds the contribution amount it wants to provide.

Is Invest Payson part of the federal government?

No. Invest Payson is an independent, locally focused initiative and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. government, U.S. Treasury, IRS, or Invest America Foundation. Program details remain subject to current federal rules and guidance.
